NSDS MONITORING, EVALUATION AND REPORTING

The Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting division is responsible for overseeing the overall performance of SNBS by ensuring that progress is consistently tracked and reported through quarterly progress reports. This mandate allows the section to provide a structured assessment of SNBS’s achievements, challenges, and areas requiring improvement

Strategic Objectives

  • Institutionalize a Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation Framework: Develop and implement a comprehensive M&E framework aligned with SNBS’s strategic plan to ensure systematic tracking of institutional outputs, outcomes, and impacts. This includes establishing clear performance indicators, standardized reporting mechanisms, and data-driven tools to enable evidence-based decision-making and continuous organizational learning.
  • Enhance Timely and Accurate Reporting for Accountability and Transparency: Ensure the regular production and dissemination of high-quality quarterly and annual progress reports that provide a holistic view of SNBS’s performance, identify key achievements, and flag operational challenges. These reports will serve as essential tools for internal accountability, stakeholder engagement, and donor reporting.
  • Strengthen Capacity for Performance Monitoring Across Directorates: Build the capacity of SNBS staff and directorates in M&E best practices to foster a culture of performance measurement and improvement. This includes training, developing guidelines, and establishing feedback loops that promote continuous performance tracking and adaptive management throughout the Bureau.
