The Somalia Consumer Price Index (CPI). Over the twelve months to October 2025, the CPI rose 3.9%.The most significant price rises over the twelve months were Recreation, Sports, and Culture (+8.3%), Personal Care, Social Protection and Misc (+7.5%), Education Services (+7.0%), Health (+6.6%), and Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages and Restaurants and Accommodation services (both +5.3%) .

Price increases were strong for the month of October across the states with South-West State (+7.0%), Banadir (+5.4%), Hirshabelle (+5.1%), Jubaland (+4.8%), and Galmudug (+4.3%). A minor offset from Puntland (-3.3%) had a dampening effect due to its significant weight.
